The Brief

For any school, the comfort and wellbeing of pupils is of paramount importance. So, when Horton Grange began experiencing problems with their outdated boilers, the school’s site manager Stephen Clapham contacted Bensons.

The Solution

As the school was without heat, Bensons jumped into action immediately. The goal was to assess the problem and provide a solution quickly with as little disruption as possible to children and staff. Bensons’ engineers are experienced in working in school environments and understand the challenges schools face. Each Bensons engineer is DBS Enhanced checked, providing the reassurance that work will be completed safely while always considering the welfare of pupils and staff. During their assessment, Bensons identified that the ageing and inefficient boilers needed replacing completely. As it was a big job, Bensons immediately arranged and installed temporary heating to allow the school to remain open whilst the complex works were completed.

The Results

Horton Grange now has new and reliable condensing commercial boilers installed, giving the school peace of mind that future breakdowns will be minimised. The condensing boilers will also help the school save energy and are kinder to the environment. The boilers have been installed to be fully compliant with current industry regulations.  By providing a seamless transition from the temporary heating solution to the new boiler system, Bensons helped Horton Grange maintain a warm, safe and inviting environment for their pupils and staff.
