At Bensons, the safety of our clients and their property is paramount. All our gas engineers are employed directly by us with no third-party contractors. We continually invest in their professional training and our engineers are fully qualified and licenced by the Gas Safe Register. We are also accredited by the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) and are a SafeContractor Approved business. 

 Gas Safe Register 

Gas Safe replaced Corgi in 2009 as the UK’s official gas registration body, maintaining the register of businesses and operatives who are competent to undertake both piped natural gas and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) work in the United Kingdom. All gas businesses must be accredited by law to ensure only fully qualified engineers are licenced to legally work with gas. Gas Safe monitor and inspect businesses to make sure they are compliant and investigate safety complaints from the public. 

Gas Safe Registration means our engineers have achieved expertise in ensuring safety when working with gas. This gives peace of mind and assurance that our gas engineers are providing a legal and safe service for you and your residents or tenants; it is also essential for insurance purposes, planning permission and when renting a property. Our engineers carry proof of registration when they visit a client to carry out any work on boilers, fires ovens or any gas appliance.  IPAF 

The International Powered Access federation (IPAF) promotes the safe and effective use of powered access equipment worldwide, including mobile elevation and mast climbing platforms and construction hoists. The organisation provides technical advice and information, training programmes for employees and influences legislation and safety initiatives. Our accreditation with IPAF means are engineers are fully trained in all aspects of working at height, giving you peace of mind when they are visiting your premises.
